A number of inmates at Guantanamo are on the 5th week of a hunger strike to protest the beatings and mistreatment they are receiving at the hands of US interrogators. They are committed to die rather than continue to live in this degrading prison colony. The US continues to use "National Security" as their excuse for this wanton disregard for the Geneva Conventions and basic human values.
