Italy has issued international arrest warrants and is seeking to extradite 22 CIA agents employed by the US government who violated international law and Italian law by kidnapping a Muslim cleric in Italy and secretly transporting him to Egypt where he was tortured. This is another glaring example of the United States Government's blatant disregard for the rule of law: their own, international and Italian. We in the US have allowed our government to become a rogue government answerable to no one, operating totally outside all laws. We are responsible for this. We who pay our taxes that support this, have a moral and karmic responsibility for our government's actions.
I always had the idea that people who invoked God's wrath or that of their favorite superpower, were in essence Black Magicians, followers of the left hand path, invokers of Black Magic. Evidently, Robertson in his inflated identification with his own version of a superpower, fueled by the ego inflating situation of being on his own TV show, is now calling on God to bring down his wrath on those poor benighted citizens in Pennsylvania who dared to reject all 8 candidates for the local school board who were proselytizing for the teaching of scientifically unproven religious theories in the public schools. It will be interesting to follow this one to see who is struck down first, the enlightened citizens of Dover, Pennsylvania or the eminent televangelist Pat Robertson.
Robertson warns Pennsylvania voters of God's wrath
P.S. Yeh, yeh, I know Moses did it in the bible, but remember who Moses was and where he learned his tricks.... He was raised in Egypt by Egyptians. His was no Christian magic. Did Christ strike down the Romans, the Scribes and Pharasees? It makes me wonder who these guys are worshiping.
Now the army of the US will definitely be a Christian army fighting those Muslim infidels.
Bush publicly states that "We do not torture." Clearly that is why the congress is considering a bill to outlaw torture and specifically specify what the armed forces and agents of the U.S. government may and may not do. Clearly that is why the Vice-President of the U.S. has appeared before members of congress asking for an exemption from the new rules for members of the CIA. We do not torture, but we don't want anyone telling us we can't. Frank Zappa wrote a song during the Nixon administration called "When The Lie's So Big". Nixon was just amateur compared to these criminals.
When the lie's so big
And the fog gets so thick
And the facts disappear
The Republican Trick
Can be played out again
People, please tell me when
We'll be rid of these men!
