CEOs want to raise the retirement age to 70

This is so beyond irresponsible that I wonder if they are thinking this through at all. At a time of unparalleled unemployment, they want to force the baby boomers to work until they are 70, keeping them in the work force for 5 more years than currently. Has anyone thought of how that will increase the number of unemployed in the country. Sorry guys, the answer is to lower the retirement age so that the younger members of the work force can get jobs and lower the unemployment numbers. This will pump more money into the economy since younger workers spend more to support their growing families, more money means more taxes and an improved economy. Taking or delaying payments to the older workers is simply depriving them of what they have paid into the system all of their working lives. This is beyond stupid.
